It’s hard to believe, but it’s been a full year since @mdixon4913 started hosting Poseidon at Asmbly. After getting familiar with how the printer operates in a makerspace context, we’ve come to the conclusion that it’s pretty easy to use, as 3D Printers go. So…
Anyone who has taken the “Intro to Filament 3D Printing” class is now able to use Poseidon. Book it in Skedda like any other printer.
If you haven’t taken the “BambuLabs P1S Techniques” class, please be sure to read the Acceptable Materials section here before printing: BambuLab P1S - Asmbly Wiki .
If you’ve taken the Intro course, but you’d like a quick introduction to BambuStudio (the slicer we recommend for Poseidon) or the AMS (how you load filaments into the printer), please stop by our 3D Printing Volunteer days on the 3rd Sunday of each month. The next one is on 2/15.
Happy Printing!
