Asmbly’s annual Maker Market is not just our largest event of the year—it’s also one of the biggest undertakings our community takes on together. Each year, we’re reminded that this event simply could not happen without the dedication, enthusiasm, and generosity of our volunteers. This year was no exception, and we are overflowing with gratitude for everyone who pitched in to make it a success.
I want to give a huge, heartfelt thank you to @nreiter and @valerie for the months of planning, organizing, and coordinating that went into preparing for this event. Our early efforts set the foundation for everything that followed, and I am so grateful for the time, creativity, and leadership you brought to the Maker Market this year.
I also want to thank everyone involved in facilities improvements and cleaning. In the week leading up to the market, so many of you spent hours cleaning, organizing, beautifying, and setting up the space. Because of you, the facility looked welcoming, polished, and ready for all the energy and excitement the weekend would bring. Thank you for helping create a space our members—and all our visiting newcomers—could enjoy and be proud of.
To everyone who showed up before, during, and after the event: thank you. Whether you were helping vendors get settled, greeting guests, running logistics behind the scenes, representing Asmbly to first-time visitors, or helping with teardown after a long weekend—you made this event run smoothly. Your willingness to jump in wherever needed and to embody the spirit of our community is what transforms the Maker Market from an event into a memorable shared experience.
Each of you helped make this year’s Maker Market a vibrant, welcoming, and community-building celebration of creativity. We are so grateful for your time, effort, and heart. Thank you for showing up, supporting one another, and making Asmbly shine.
Sincerely, I want to thank you all for such a successful weekend!
