Losing @stepho to Minnesota is undoubtably sad (post here), but I feel fortunate that we’ve found our next Textiles Lead ahead of time so that the two of them can spend time together during the hand off.

Stoney has been sewing since the age of 10 and brings decades of experience and passion to her new role at Asmbly. As a fashion designer, she has honed her craft with patience, persistence, and endless knowledge that she’s excited to share with the community.
In the short time that I’ve know her, I’ve seen one of Stoney’s greatest strengths as her ability to make everyone feel welcome and empowered to tackle projects, no matter how challenging they might seem. Her realistic yet optimistic view inspires confidence while encouraging growth. She has a lot of exciting ideas for the textiles shop that I’m sure will spark new energy, engagement, and collaboration among members.
I’m can’t wait to see the positive impact @StoneyG will have on Asmbly as she helps elevate the Textiles Shop into an even more vibrant, collaborative, and creative space.
