🎥 Marketing Volunteer Team — Help Us Tell Asmbly’s Story

With Alex stepping back from his paid role, we’re putting together a volunteer-based Marketing Team to help carry forward the storytelling and visibility work he helped build.

This team will be focused specifically on marketing content, not event outreach or logistics (we already have a separate Outreach Team for that). The goal here is to help Asmbly consistently highlight the people, projects, and creative energy happening in the space.

Some of the ways this team may contribute:

  • Capturing photos and short videos around the space
  • Gathering footage of members working on projects (always asking to make sure they’re OK with being highlighted!)
  • Helping curate content for social media, email, and other marketing channels
  • Spotlighting artists and makers in our community
  • Helping make sure great work doesn’t go unseen or uncelebrated

This is a volunteer-led team with flexible involvement — no expectation of constant availability or a heavy time commitment. Even a few hours here and there can make a meaningful difference (simply sharing raw footage of your own project work helps a lot!).

Alex will continue to be involved in a limited volunteer capacity and I’m grateful to have his support and perspective as we shape what this team looks like moving forward.
