: Sunday, June 14th, from 2:00 to 4:30 PM, for our next IT Volunteer Day!
We’re setting up Asmbly’s new central PC, which will act as a server that helps remotely maintain the other computers in the space through an endpoint manager. Further down the line, it could also bring possibilities like centralized printing, or even hosting some of our own services, like the website or wiki. We’ll also be chipping away at a couple of other projects. If you enjoy coding, we’ll be writing more unit tests for NeonIntegrations.
There’s also been a hot discussion on our forums about how we track tool problems, and we could use a hand digging into it. Right now, reports are scattered across Slack, Discourse, and ClickUp, so it’s hard to tell what’s actually been fixed, or to check whether a tool is working before you head in. We’d be interested to work toward a clearer single source of truth, maybe even a per-tool view you can check for issues before coming to the space.
