Someone refilled one of the wash bottles in the 3D printing area with what looks like resin-contaminated isopropyl alcohol. Multiple people used this wash bottle to clean the print sheets for the filament printers, leaving a sticky, toxic mess! (see: 10/13/25 08:03PM 3D Printing - Prusa XL )
Only stewards should fill these wash bottles or change the IPA in the resin cleaning stations.
If you notice that one of them is empty or low, please file a problem report and enter “Supplies Problem” and “3D Printing” and let us know what needs more.
We temporarily store chemicals for disposal in bottles that previously held other chemicals, so don’t assume that something you find stashed out of plain view is what it says on the label.
All of the sheets on the printers have been cleaned.
