Ok, this one has me stumped. I expected it to be like 7/28/2026 14:50:02 - 3D Printing - BambuLabs P1S - Hanuman , where heat creep had jammed up the hot end. That was true, and I cleared that out. But the idler gear is not feeding filament through, even with the hot end not there at all. At first there was a ticking/grinding sound, which made me think there was an obstruction in the gears (probably filament), but working the gears back and forth got some powder to fall out and now they seem to be turning freely. I vaccumed and used a blower on the gears, to get out any remaining debris.

I removed the extruder mechanism, and confirmed that I can turn the gears, but I can’t get it to accept filament. Anyone have any thoughts before I order another one of these?

@flowmage has repaired this. The jam did require a teardown of the extruder.

Good side effect: Zephyrus now has a hardened gear set installed!
