Summary: Dust Bag Doesn’t Seem to Seal
Additional Info: Today there was a subtle, but noticeable haze around the CNC side of the woodshop. I quickly discovered a pin hole air leak in the bag. After assisting the person on the machine to secure it so the hole wasn’t an issue, we noticed there was air leaks coming from a few other spots, including one that felt like it was coming right from the screws in the unit that the bags attach to.
They don’t seem to be able to tighten anymore from the outside, and I haven’t poked my head inside of it yet.
I think this warrants a yellow tag on the CNC. It’s still operational, and the pin-hole leak isn’t horrible, but can make things bad quick. If anyone has time to check this out and help diagnose and find a fix, I’d really appreciate it.
