Who else is into eurorack?

We might not have the momentum for a SIG, but a modular meet-up would be fun!
Below is a slightly outdated snapshot of my rack.

the blank panel was rastered on Dorian! It’s a frame from a Junji Ito manga, but not the best version I made.

mine is just I/O for the Daisy. the spaghetti is software.

hats off to your minimalism! I get the feeling you’re hiding a few skiffs though lol

there were tradeoffs to make it about the size I could fit on a pedalboard if I wanted. Yours is rightly much less friction to make it beep-boop; nicely done. Mine is a paralysis by analysis nightmare that doesn’t do anything out of the box.

This is the extent of eurorack modules I have around. If you include stompboxes and synthesizers, it’s a different story though.

The snapshot I included was before trading away a few models.

I realized I mainly wanted a more sample based workflow, and I ended up with too many triggers, and not enough LFO’s. I also have a korg SQ64 to sync my DAW and give me even more 3.5mm outs. Definitely didn’t have any clue what I wanted when I first started out, so my setup could use some focus, but I haven’t bleeped a bloop in weeks!

Mitxela is out with a video about a Eurorack idea. One of my favorite channels/creators. Love his point about why hardware is so much more fun than digital equivalents and thought eurorack folks would be into it

Mitxela popped onto my radar when he made that fluid simulation pendant. I’m digging into their back catalog now for more inspiration!

By the by, thanks again for your help fixing my LFO, so nice to be able to add it back to my rack after sitting in a cabinet for more than a year.

For anyone curious about modular synths, or the eurorack format should check out this software.

It’s so good it’s hard to believe that it’s free!
