I have a request for a special project that requires a 4x4 of white oak. It does not need to be longer than about 48”. I’ve struck out searching in the Austin/San Antonio area. I’m hoping someone knows of a vendor I’ve missed.

I recently did a job for someone that needed 5x5 white oak. The only option was to buy a long board, chop it up and laminate them together to make the big chunk.
I needed 5”x5”x35” and ended up getting 8/4 lumber to glue up. I think the cheapest I got it all was about $115 for the wood to make one blank from Fine Lumber.
