The lathe chuck key seems to have lost its “remove the chuck key” reminder spring.
Someone claims it came off and bounced away and got lost about two months ago, but it hasn’t turned up after several searches and shop cleanings. I will replace the spring if possible or the entire key if necessary, but I haven’t gotten around to doing that yet.
