I have some projects that my fiance’ is asking me to do for our wedding in October…they seem like they would be common projects - cornhole set, our married last name, Photo Booth props, etc. I’m wondering where the best place to post to see if anyone have completed the same thing in the past for the purpose of file-sharing things like CNC/laser files, recommended settings for tools, and finishing tips/suggestions.
Where would that magical place be? Thank you in advance
The Maker Talk topics would be the best area to be searching for this type of information. You may need to post to several specific areas of interest though. Project Expo might have relevant projects from the past.
Space Teams has information relevant to specific tool types. Lasers, wood working, etc.
And of course, there are lots of projects on the web. A Google search or YouTube search often finds more information than you might want. You can then ask for clarification or suggestions based on your findings or experimentations.
The goal is to have fun experimenting and learning. Plan on making mistakes and working up to a spectacular final result. And Welcome to Asmbly!
