What type and size sanding disks for Asmbly's orbital sander(s)

What type and size disks should I buy for Asmbly’s orbital sander(s). At this time I want to do my sanding via a handheld sander. I assume, but please correct me, that Asmbly’s handheld orbital sander(s) are made by DEWALT. When I search for “dewalt orbital sander disks” I get 5" 8 Hole Hook and Loop Sandpaper. Is that what I should get?

That is correct

Thanks!

Dewalt sanders are not the only ones that use the 5"/8 hole sanding discs. Most 5" orbital sanders do with the exception of Festool and Craftsman. Here is a very good source for them. The quality is rather good (better than the diablo you get at HD), the shipping is unexpensive, and they are quick. I would get the 80 grit, 150 grit, and the 220/240 grit. That should cover your sanding needs. You could also use the solid disc (no holes) but is a bit more dusty. Solid discs are great to sand lasered stuf, they stay on the surface and for the most part don’t damage the dark lasered part.

They also have a lot of stuff for the metal shop but i am not familiar with those prices.
