What drill bits sizes are available in the machine shop’s drill press?
If i want to bring my own, What type of bits should i bring?

We HAD a full set of wire number, letter, fractional (by 64ths up to 1/2), and metric. We are missing about a third of them now, especially the smaller sizes, plus the metric set appears to have been stolen outright.
We in fact have a second set of number, letter, and fractional bits that I haven’t put out for general use yet because I’m trying to work out a system where I can keep track of and replace bits as they are broken.
We don’t have any metric bits right now, which is definitely a problem.
We also have a set of spotting drills, several sets of center drills, and countersink drills for both 82 degrees (imperial) and 90 degrees (metric). We don’t have any reamers (yet).
I believe these are all 118 degree angle, and I don’t think these are split-point. So, adequate for metal but not specialized for metal.
In that case, bring whatever type you need for your purpose. I don’t know the maximum shank sizes of the various machines off the top of my head, but they’re all greater than 1/2", which covers everything common.
