We’ve got some simple new signs to label the status of the welding gas bottles.
When stewards get new bottles, they’ll put on the signs with the FULL side showing. When a bottle is put into use, remove the sign (leave it on the gas bottle rack), since it’s neither empty or full ar that point. When a bottle runs out, put on a sign with the EMPTY side showing (whether it’s on a cart or returned to the rack).
Hopefully this will avoid the recent confusion, where several people thought we had a full argon bottle when we did not, causing us to run out.
