So the question about grinders in welding yielded interesting results.
Pneumatics came in last but were supported by some of our biggest experts. Simple pneumatic attachments are actually cheap, so we will probably round out our collection in addition to the electric ones.
The corded angle grinder clearly had the most support, but a third option was put forth: a more powerful battery variant.
So I have a question to ask, especially for those who voted for the corded option: what would you think of grinders with more powerful and higher capacity batteries? That would provide benefits similar to the corded grinder. The ease of use issues are a balance: cords can be limiting, but the type of batteries we would get need would add quite a bit of weight.
What say you all?
