Volunteers Needed

When: This Saturday, Apri 25th from 10 am til 4 pm

Where: Metal and Wood Shop

Lunch will be provided!!!

We are building a second new sheet goods and vertical storage rack that will be easy to access and prevent the need to lean lumber against the walls. Yeah!

Our goal is to have a minimum of ten volunteers.

Volunteer Specialty: Welding and cutting metal tubing to various lengths. The cut list will follow—the tubing is currently in the metal shop and can be cut to length ahead of time.

We also need many hands to help move and stages materials, help dry assemble the components for welding, and prep for installing plywood dividers.

This will be the first of many of the wood shop’s upgrades and we desperately need your help. Please come in and help us continue to make Asmbly the best creative and functional Makerspace around.

You are welcome to volunteer @ivan-ekman ! Just don’t work on any equipment you aren’t certified on unless you’re being supervised. You’ve got WSS, MSS, and several other classes under your belt, so it shouldn’t be a problem!
