Howdy,
In case other people were interested joining me (and if this type of post is allowed), I’ll be going to the next Greater Austin Clay Artists meeting which will have special guest **Chad Franco “**Chad will be demonstrating how to measure out a symmetrical design on a cup or mug and show techniques for laying down straight lines to then carve away.”
More information and directions on their website, but generally it’s:
Tuesday, July 7
7:00-9:00pm
St. Edward’s University
Website with specific building directions:
Note: I think you have to sign up for membership to attend; looks like it’s $25 per calendar year for included access to all other meetings this year (this will be my first event).
Sneak PS - in case people were interested in a future Ceramics SIG meeting this summer, let me know so I can gauge interest, and if you have a preference of what it’d be like (just chatting about current projects/questions, or having the public join and try throwing for the first time to see if they’d like to take a class/become a member, or watch Ghost, etc).
