Sorry, last one.

I noticed this morning that the metal trash bins to catch the planer and joiner sawdust were NOT plastic-bag-lined. If an experiment has not been done yet (to see if the bag would / or not be swept into the vacuum system), I think it would be useful to see, as dumping the sawdust into another plastic-bagged-bin is messy. Perhaps an upside down “round-4-prong-metal-tomato-stake” type apparatus placed in bin after the bag was placed in it would work, if ‘the-suck-into-the-vacuum’ was confirmed.

How about purchasing small plastic bags in the do-dad that sits atop the various vacuum cleaners? (another experiment to see if ‘the-suck’ occurred).

This morning I made a frame for the jointer trash can! It seems to work pretty well.

It was a fun little metal project too, and anyone else is welcome to make one for the planer. I’ll probably be able to do it this week if no one beats me to it.

I have new bags next to those cans and near the DC. Soon we’ll have larger bags to fit in the DC larger cans.

BTW! I saw a bunch of sawdust and wood scraps in the right-side dumpster. If anyone reading this wants to own up to it, please do and go clean it out with the shovel near the back door. Otherwise you’d be making me do that!
