We had a great turnout today! @sneezix @Johnvaughn @AlexSchoedler and I spent a hard 2 hours cleaning, performing some much needed maintenance and TLC to our equipment.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to learn how perform maintenance, learn to do repairs, and gain volunteer hours.
Here’s a few things we got done today:
- All cast irons was cleaned and waxed!
- Both table saws got a deep clean including the blades.
- Both band saws got a complete tune up and are running great!
- All Shop Vac’s got deep cleaned–including the filters!
- Sanding table got a deep clean including the filters!
- Jointer’s rollers were adjusted for smooth operation.
- General shop sweeping and cleaning.
