The woodshop was trashed this morning

I came in this morning to teach Woodshop Safety, and I was kind of surprised by the number of messes around the shop. There were a lot of people scheduled in last night, so clearly lots of work. But also lots of messes.

When you sign into Skedda, you check a box agreeing that you will clean up. If you are not cleaning up, you are not meeting your obligation. A clean shop is not a benefit, it’s a responsibility.

What I found:
Dust bin for jointer was not emptied.
Dust bin for planer was not emptied
(both should be emptied if you use them. Not just when full, but when you are done)
3 trash cans loaded
table saw top trashed. This has been getting worse with two saws. I looked inside, and ouch. Sweep the tops, vacuum the interior, where you can. The only people that clean the equipment are volunteers. Like you.
Re-saw bandsaw covered in sawdust.
Bit left in router (improperly mounted, but I’ll post that separately.)
Portable dust collector buckets not emptied.

If someone leaves you a mess, please clean it up, but report it using the Red QR code. We will take if from there.
