Textiles has a new electric power reel above the ceiling in the center with a pass through and stopper. This should be particularly useful for people needing power on the central table.

This should also be useful for anyone at the leather working table when they are using the burnishing machine, or using the shopvac to clean up any leather dust that remains.
Since this retractable cord is new to this shop, there might be some nuance that needs to be added. If anyone using it has suggestions for improvements, by all means, let me know.
I would say, try to be somewhat gentle in retracting the cord. The passthrough is fixed to the ceiling framework but not the tile, and letting the stop hit them too hard may push the tile around.
