Textiles area mini-poll

I’m working on helping set up the textiles area, and I wanted to do a quick poll so that I can prioritize efforts for the machines we’re setting up. The reason for this question is that one machine can do two things. For those who are interested in textiles work, which better represents your interests?

  • I’d like to have a sewing machine
  • I’d like to have an embroidery machine
  • I’m likely to use both

I voted based on what I don’t have available at home, but I do think there’s value to both!

Both are usable, and it’s not difficult to switch between them, but this is to help guide a few infrastructure choices.

I voted based on what I don’t have at home, as well (a serger and a regular machine). I am available to contribute as a volunteer in this area at any point as well. It is one of of the few where I’m not a complete beginner :sweat_smile:
