I’m new to 3D printing, so wanted to double check on a few things.
Tethys was in an incomplete state this morning (see pictures) and so I cleaned based on learnings from Alex Gao. I’m running a new print job now to see how it runs.
But since is the first time I’ve done a full cleaning, I wanted to check a few things with the community:
One, i used the metal scraper to clean the “top thing” (don’t know the official name). Is that ok? I noticed that it had a bunch of seeming scratches on it. I am pretty sure I didn’t make these, but i might have made a few …more?
Two, when emptying the resin tray to pull out the “cleaning” … there used to be a funnel, which I couldn’t find. I did use the special paper filter and used that, but the funnel would have been awesome (I was probably looking right at it). It was a little messy.
Three, i ran a cleaning and pulled out the film.
Anyway, a confirmation or double check from someone would be great.
Finally, if I f*ed everything up, I’m happy to pay recompense. Let me know.
