I came into the space this morning, and it seems like tarkin’s main laser head is a little loose. It must have hit a clamp, and now it needs to be realigned.
After more analysis i see that the bed is also not level. That might be why the lower left quadrant is not cutting well.

How do we know if the item has been worked on after reporting the issue?
Unless youre a steward with access to Slack, you will not and are at the mercy of Danny M. If he fixes the problem he may or may not update this thread with a resolved note. Sometimes when he does post the update, he has suggestions for better operation of the laser. There is another thread where someone is trying to implement a solution to the lack of follow up on the current “report a problem” system that Asmbly has. But until that is implemented, you are left at the mercy of someone updating or answering this thread. Right now is not even red tagged on discourse so…maybe it was fixed right away?
It is indeed fixed. The lasers and mirrors are now back in alignment. I will try and make a better attempt at posting on Discourse when there is work done on the Lasers. Please bear with us, we do not always see problem reports immediately, especially during the workday, and it can take some time to respond. We do appreciate your patience.
