Table saw stop block for safe crosscuts

I made a simple stop block that uses a Match Fit clamp. The clamps are in a drawer by the miter saw. The block is in the tray attached to the fence. It’s made from .75 MDF. If you want to make repeat cuts at 12 long, pop this on the fence, towards the front of the saw. Set the fence to 12.75". Install the miter slide. Slide your workpiece to the block, then push forward into the blade, holding the workpiece at the miter slide. When the workpiece gets to the blade, it will not be trapped between the fence and blade.

This can also work with a crosscut sled for very long cross cuts.
