We just bought a set of these chairs from a discount retailer, so no refunds or exchanges.
One of the legs apparently saw some stress along the way and I’m trying to think how I might most easily get it straight again.
The leg on the right appears to have bent a little bit in the spot I’ve marked in the photos - you can see in the first photo that the hole has compressed a little bit in that spot.
It may be able to bend back, but it’s kind of a hard spot to get leverage at. It’s definitely too strong to bend by hand using the leg for leverage.
I would just drill a new hole for the leg to fix into the seat, but as you can see in the 3rd photo the leg is not splayed outward like the others and would be prone to bending the wrong way with someone sitting on it.
Any ideas for how I might get this straight would be welcome!
