I’m very excited to announce that @Rolo has been promoted to Facilities Manager!
Since joining Asmbly last year as Facilities Coordinator, Robert has stepped up in so many ways — tackling facilities issues head-on, establishing better systems for operations, collaborating closely with volunteers and staff, and always keeping member needs at the center of his work. His thoughtful, solutions-focused approach has already made a huge difference in keeping the space running smoothly and improving everyone’s experience.
In his new role, Robert will oversee our Shop Area Leads program as well as the rest of the Facilities Team (Kiln Operators and a new part-time Facilities Coordinator we’re now hiring for). This shift also helps Asmbly continue to mature as a nonprofit organization by narrowing the Executive Director role’s focus toward funding, grants, marketing, and broader strategic growth — steps that will help set the stage for a future full-time Executive Director to take Asmbly to the next level.
