I’m very excited to share this next update to the Leadership Team at Asmbly and staff promotion. Please join me in congratulating Adam Stow on his well-deserved promotion to Asmbly’s Director of Education! 
Since joining the Education Team last November, @AJStow has hit the ground running. He’s played a key role in onboarding over a dozen new teachers and has collaborated with them to bring fresh classes to our schedule, like Box Building Basics w/ Austin (more classes coming soon!) — with even more exciting offerings on the way! Adam has quickly become a go-to resource within our community, offering support and guidance. True to the ultimate makerspace spirit (with a “gotta catch ‘em all” Pokémon approach), he’s explored classes across various shop areas, learning enough to teach where needed.
Adam also brings years of experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds and has a deep passion for expanding youth programming at Asmbly. I’m thrilled to partner with him and the Youth Programming Committee to bring these opportunities to life. If you’d like to get involved, feel free to reach out to either of us!
This position marks an important milestone for Asmbly as our first paid Director role. With education at the heart of our mission as a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit, having dedicated staff leadership in this area is a natural next step. Adam’s vision for the future of our programming is inspiring, and I can’t wait to see how our educational offerings continue to grow and evolve under his leadership.
