I put the resaw through it’s paces yesterday with a 12x12 pecan block.
About 30 seconds per 22 inch cut.
You might say, “hey, it’s spalted. No big deal”. Perhaps, but at least one of the sides was almost entirely heartwood with no spalting. No difference in cutting time or effort.
