Space making/storage suggestions for Car Camping Setup

Hi all,
My name is Jesse. I’m going on a 10 state trip next month in a Subaru Forester with 2 people (including me), 2 large dogs and a cat. I wonder if any of y’all have advice, tips, product suggestions for making storage space or just traveling more comfy?

I am planning to take a large cargo box on my roof and a cargo box hitch on the rear. And we’re just going to tent camp the whole way… (I wanted to buy a teardrop trailer but I have not been able to find one light enough and cheap enough…plus don’t have much time left to build one)

If anyone has suggestions, please let me know. I’d appreciate it. Also, I am making videos about my travels on my youtube if interested.

These cargo drawers are very useful. Helps to keep things conveniently accessible without unpacking a bunch of stuff on top of the wanted item. These are stupid expensive, but something you could make yourself and customize for your car’s interior. ARB® - Roller Floor
