The picture on the left is the new Bambu Labs X1 printer, and the one on the right is the Prusa Mk3s.
As you can see, it’s a whole day faster, but I didn’t even include but just thought about filament usage. The X1 uses 117m compared to the MK3s’ 135m, I don’t know how it came up with less, but the optimization seems good!
This is a “poop” bucket as the printer has a built-in nozzle cleaner + purge shoot. So I need something to collect the waste.
An interesting update would be a comparison using Arachne with a 0.6mm nozzle.
devs have already said that Arachne we’ll be supported as it’s a fork of Prusa Slicer. I’m curious to see the speeds once that happens.
