SK8CAD open source skateboard software

Recently @TravisGood forwarded me the information to a open source software for skateboard designing. While I don’t personally skateboard, and hadn’t had a desire to design one before, I gave the software a “ride.”

Its a fun program to use and seems to offer functionality for beginners up to experts. I by no means am an expert about skateboards, so I just enjoyed playing with the settings and seeing the 3d preview. The do allow free downloads of STL files, donation suggested, so I may cut a skateboard out just to see. Maybe this could be my CNC Sig project entry…

Thanks for posting! Cool stuff. It’s amazing how many resources are out there.

Other than the cabinet software, this skateboard tool, and a lot of inlay and layered stuff on Etsy, what are some other fun projects members have found?
