I found the sheet metal bender in the metal shop. Here is a pic for reference. I know some members were asking about it.

cool! Where does it live? I thought there was only scrap under the big welding table…
I found it in the scrap under the table. I think it should live on the shelf. I assume it will need new handles. We can use our new metal turning skills and make them if we can’t find them

That’s great news! I have a couple of projects that require bending sheet metal.
I looked up a comparable sheet metal bender and it is rated for a 17 gauge sheet metal. The inch equivalent is .0538 which is less than a 1/16 in. Be nice to it so we can have it for a while.
