I have submitted a request for a sewing machine class because i am planning a project and realized i probably would want to reinforce it by hemming (?) It and i dont know how to work a sweing machine at all and there is not one up on the schedule that i found. Willing to do a private one. Able to do most weeknights. Not sure where else to post this.
@MoonLitRose You can request the class by navigating to the right class in the Textiles category here and then clicking on “request class” (since you’re right – there are none scheduled). The catch is that I don’t know what would be the right class for you since there are 3 that might qualify (Intro to Sergers, Intro to Sewing, and Threads, Sergers, Needles and Totes). Hope @stepho can help with that.
I just requested and Intro to Sewing session because I really should know how to use the Juki for my leather nonsense.
I know the education team is working with a newer member who is a very experienced sewer for them to start teaching and get some sewing classes on the books. More to come!

I had done that, i just think my email inbox eats emails and i wanted another avenue of communication in case the proper response gets lost in the spam folder, again.

Yay! Because i decide to do things, pay for supplies that cant be returned and then go “oh yeah, i dont actually know how to do that”
