Sending gcode to Pearl

Is there a way to send gcode to Pearl? A terminal or some other software?

I want to send some G0 or G1 commands for framing tests. The main motivator would be to test the rotary axis.

I think I had a design that didn’t seamlessly connect because the glass was a little cockeyed on the spindle. I would like to test that theory and improve my operation of Pearl.

can you still “echo” to a (USB) parallel port in modern Windows?

Nope, they use specially designed laser controllers, they don’t take gcode.
