Searching for a workshop space

Hello!

This is definitely a miscellaneous question, but I wanted to put out there just in case anyone had some leads…

I have taken on a full time carpentry job with a friend recently. We have a small shop and I have been doing my milling at Asmbly. My partner and I got hired for an interior job building a bar for a restaurant, which is really exciting, but this job is bigger than the limited space in our current shop. We are in search of a warehouse, garage or commercial type space to rent out on a month to month or short term lease. Ideally it would be close to 1000 sq ft.

I thought I would just put this on here in case anyone knew of place for rent, or maybe has something on their own property they would be willing to rent out. The hunt for workshop space in Austin is difficult so I am just using all the resources I have. AC is not required, but it being secure and able to be locked is. I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend and staying cool out there!

There is ReadySpaces but I don’t think they allow woodworking.

I know a shop that operates(or at least used to) out of Burnet Rd Self Storage. Some of their units have metered electrical access. If you just need to do assembly or use only battery tools, you can work out of most self storage facilities.
