I cut some dado’s this morning and noticed that the new inserts seem to be a tad long for this saw. Inserting a new one and installing, I had a difficult time seating it properly. The front inserts fine into the screw (the only one remaining…), but the other end would not seat easily. I sanded that end a bit and viola, it seated properly (but still tighter than what it should be). Am I doing something wrong or are the spare inserts not specifically for this table?
We’ve had those inserts for quite some time. I can’t imagine there being another part number that close, sheet sanding it makes a difference. Thanks for doing that.
I’ll order some new inserts.
