Saturn 4 ultra Troubleshooting thread

As I am already troubleshooting settings in the Saturn ultra 3, i figure i would also go through the troubleshooting for the ultra 4 since i heard last week that prints are coming out oddly on it for normal resin.

First thing i notice is that my version of chitubox doesnt have the settings to the saturn ultra 4 yet so i am seeing if elegoo or chitubox has those settings to download seperately. So if yall are having weird print issues on the saturn 4 ultra, please first check which slicer you are using and then which machine is selected
If you are still having issues getting the print to come out right using the correct machine settings/using a seperate slicer program, please drop in your slicer and settings details in thread so can make a calibration test to check resin exposure

I have installed the update that lets me have saturn 4 configurations so i will come in and do a calibration test sometime with in the next week

Thanks Emma. I was able to print on Dione after installing the latest version of Chitubox Basic. I haven’t heard about prints coming out oddly. Do you know who mentioned that?

General request to everyone: please use the problem report form if something goes wrong with your print or it doesn’t work the way it ought to. Even if you think it might be “user error”, it’s good for us to know that people are having problems. If you include your contact info, we will respond (though not necessarily immediately).

Someone mentioned it to me on fri/sat (i dont remember which i was here both days) because they were finishing up a print as i was testing out a setting for my weird resin ( which may be my problem).

But something to consider is that, from what i can tell, the saturn 4 ultra has a tank heater to keep the resin at optimum temperature but it doesnt look like saturn 3 ultra has one built so there may be a seperate resin consistency between the 2.

Remembering to post here: the calibration print came out perfict with margin of error on z height
