The automatic feed on the Rong Fu is broken — more precisely, the piece that attaches the feed motor to the table is broken. It’s an old cast iron piece that just snapped.
I’ve started making a replacement part, but it’s going slowly. Until then, we’re all stuck spinning the knob.
My replacement seems to be working, though I’m not certain the gear alignment is as good as it should be. Let me know if any problems come up.
The whole reason I was fooling with it was that the old bolts made it very difficult to put T-nuts in two of the tracks from the left. This fixes that too.
