Rong Fu Mill 30 minute hand holding

i’ve taken the class and been studying up in the manual for this device but wondering if any of the pros on this machine - for instance who really know their way around the DRO (or milling threads) - would mind giving me 30 minutes of help getting up and running with it.
i have actual parts to clean up - and some machine shop experience - so potentially it would just to be to hold my hand and get me started.
THANKS

Neither of our manual mills can mill threads; that would require the Tormach CNC or the lathe. The manual mills don’t even have a power tapper, so the most you can do on them is drill and manually tap holes (though using a tap guide is a great help for the latter).

The only reason to use the Rong Fu is if the Precision Matthews is in use or reserved and you are pressed for time. That doesn’t seem to be the case. So perhaps start by reading this document, which tells people trained on the Rong Fu mill how to use the Precision Matthews mill.

If by “really know their way around the DRO”, you mean it’s advanced calculation functions, you are likely on your own. Even I have never bothered learning them. But the full manual for the DRO on the Precision Matthews is online if you want to read it

thanks a lot ethan.
i mis-wrote and actually meant the precision matthews, missed those documents, and didn’t realize neither do threads.
appreciate it.
