Problem Type: Equipment
Workspace: Woodshop
Asset: Laguna Small CNC
Summary: Machine stuck after “All Axis Home”
Additional Info: It’s possible I unintentionally change something when trying to turn off the spindle for a use of a drag knife. I can move X and Y in a limited manner if I don’t chose “All Axis Home”

Hi, I scheduled some time today on the small Laguna CNC and have found you are correct. This is my first time trying to use this machine and I’m experiencing exactly what you’ve described. I’m going through the menu system to see what operations are available, and it becomes unresponsive after trying to do anything interesting. My guess is that this is a simple configuration issue, but I would like to differ to someone more knowledgeable.
I entered the Menu button, but to the best of my knowledge I didn’t change anything. I went to Machine Setup –> Spindle Setup. Once I got into that I knew I was in over my head hit top/cancel. After that I found this other Asmbly thread here I looked up how to stop the spindle by setting the VFD as you mentioned, which I managed to set to 0, but then this started around the same time.
Can I get a heads up on estimated time this might be addressed? I’d like to be present (if possible) to hang out and see if there’s anything I can learn from this while it’s being fixed. Thanks.
