[Resolved] Out of compressed air, very low pressure

I was machining some acrylic on the Tormach tonight using compressed air as the coolant (liquid coolant is not necessary with this material and in fact interferes with my double adhesive tape work holding). But After I machined a few pieces. I noticed the compressed air became very weak. I tested out lines around the shop and found they are all very low pressure. Seems like the air compressor is off. I don’t know where it is or how to turn it back on if this is the case.

What should I do in this scenario next time? This blocks me from being able to do any more work.

Thanks!

I did some work on the compressed air system yesterday but definitely turned it back on afterward and used it later. I’ll check on it when I get there this morning.

The compressor was off for some reason. It definitely wasn’t just before you arrived; I had re-pressurized the system after making an earlier change and then used it extensively myself to blow off some parts. Maybe there was a brief power loss; it doesn’t turn back on after one. I’ll keep an eye on it; it can turn itself off in certain error conditions. But I see no evidence of that now.

Can you post a pic of how to reset it for people

Actually, it stopped spontaneously this afternoon as well. There were some contradictory signs, but I think we were having an issue with dirty oil. It was nearly due to be replaced anyway, so I went ahead and changed the oil, filters, etc. It is running again, so far with no issues.

I didn’t realize that this would become a two week saga. But I think we understand what happened and have resolved it.
