The resaw’s throat plate broke yesterday and was removed by the stewards.
I had some extra time last night and printed a replacement but left before it finished. Should be sitting on Apollo still (or nearby) if someone wants to grab it.
I’ll be back up around 7pm and will do it then if no else has!

It was working yesterday, although cutting without a throat plate was an exercise in futility.
Not sure how familiar you are with this machine in particular (my apologies as I’ve yet to meet many folks on the wood shop side of Asmbly), but if the foot brake is depressed it stops it from powering on. Pulling it upwards with your foot should solve this if it’s the problem.

It helps to have a few extras of these around, the last few months we’ve gone through at least 2 or more inserts on each wooden bandsaw. That’s a problem we’ll need to work through and I’ll try to put on some more short-style bandsaw classes in the new year.
I will carve out a bucket in the stewards closet soon enough, but wanted to ask in case you ever have the availability to do so. We have some stewards filament that can be used for this.
For sure- I will be back in tomorrow and will set 6 to print then if there is an open printer for the night. (trying to leave things open for folks to get last second Xmas gifts done)
