After running into the same belt tracking problem again today, James went ahead and took the sander apart, and a clear culprit was found for the problem. He will update with more information tomorrow, but in the mean time, the sander is disassembled, and will be red tagged until replacement parts can be acquired.
The wide belt sander has been having tracking issues, causing the belt to trip the limit switches. After checking various things last night, I found the oscillating motor was responding to the air input. After pulling the motor apart, I found a torn diaphragm. We are locating a new one, and will install it when it arrives, likely a couple of weeks.
