The jointer is red tagged. The blast gate to the dust collector is jammed shut and I was unable to move it. The gate will need to be re-opened and the jointer cleared of chips – a number of people used it without the dust collection working.
Please remember to check that you are actually getting air flow in the cyclone can when using the jointer, especially if the machine is spraying chips back at you. (The planer will sometimes spit chips back even with dust collection working; the jointer never does.)
