Prior to my move, I’m going to have to figure out some way to pack all the tools in my large rolling craftsman tool chest. Are there tricks or strategies y’all have encountered that help keep that from being a miserable experience?
I am hiring movers. I think I’m mostly concerned that if I leave them in their drawers things are just going to fly around everywhere, but I guess they would at least be in the right drawer. I’ll call the movers to get their guidance
Not to be… but there’s a reason they’re called tool boxes :). Unless youre going to be in the tool box, let the tools be happy in their box, flying around or not! If you’re hiring movers, let them do their job and enjoy your move to Loon/Skol country. Ill be there this Xmas. Just spot check the movers (trust but verify) otherwise youll find out you dont have much to worry about. Have fun! After all you’re going to MN! (They have free outdoor AC most of the winter).
I was helping a guy move years ago, and he had a big Craftsman on wheels, absolutely any wrench, socket, screw, or screwdriver you could think of. It tipped over in transit and spilled a million little parts all over the moving van. So just be sure the doors and drawers are secure
