I’ve taken the metal shop safety update class. I’m attempting to do a 20 degree cut on the cold saw but can’t figure out how the blade is going to clear the backstop. The backstop is fixed and in the way. See picture
The backstop isn’t fixed in place, but is slightly difficult to move. It does need to be moved closer to the user when doing angled cuts.

The lock handle that lets you turn the saw also loosens the vise slide.
