Polyprinter Has a Bad Belt?

Hi all- I did two prints last weekend with the Polyprinter (thanks for getting the laptop working, Aneel and Eric!) and ran into another issue- the layers didn’t completely line up like they used to. I tried again with my own brand-new filament, no change. Is it possible that one of the belts on the Polyprinter is worn? Or is this more likely something else?

Here is the second print- this one is the worse of the two:

Interesting, yah not sure could be a bearing or belt maybe. I will do a test print in the next day or so.

if you want to scroll through the manual and see if there is any routine maintenance that we can do to eliminate possible variables that would be helpful.

Belts may need to be tightened:

Sorry, didn’t officially reply. See my post above.

Thanks, I tightened it up. here is how to do it for future reference. the other one was fine

Thanks! I’ll remember that! The tool is in the print lab?

I tried making a print and it is still warped- this is the bottom of an electronics enclosure, it should be completely filled in.

k Let me try tightening the other belt a bit

I was adjusting the wrong one on the X. I thinks it good now
. give it a try again
