We had our monthly Ceramics Volunteer Night last night and identified a stack of plastic bats that are a bit too warped for use on the wheel. I know members made these for the Ceramics Studio– I’m not sure what the actual material is, but I thought maybe someone could repurpose them. I left the stack on the Up For Grabs shelf. If no one claims them by the end of next week– I will toss them!

Maybe we can use them for drying handbuilding items? I’ve noticed that some of the wood blocks I use are getting moldy.
Do we know what material they are made of?

I am uncertain of the exact material. I can’t confidentally recall who provided these bats, but I vaguely recall @jamesfreeman possibly dropping some off at the studio many months ago. James, am I remembering correctly, and if so, do you know from what material these bats are made?

They’re HDPE, it was purchased from Allied next door!
